These things are very different. One player asked for information from a third person while the other used information he had gathered himself or at least before knowing his opponent for the round.

In my very humble opinion seeking advice from a third person should be considered a "very bad thing" and penalized as soon as pairings are posted. Of course this is probably not realistic and asking other players for that kind of information is common practice.

Looking at notes (or asking someone about the opponent's deck or doing whatever else you are not allowed to do once the match starts) before sitting down or just a couple of seconds later is just separated by the physical action of getting your $%$ behind on your chair. You could just not sit down before presenting your deck all the while looking at your notes and then it would be legal? Yeah, sure, that makes sense. Can you imagine the whole room not sitting down before presenting their decks because they might do something they are not allowed to after presenting the deck? "Flash Mob at Magic Event!"

Both players presenting their decks would be a much more sensible time for the start of the match, at least in this regard.

Ich finde Outside Assistance sollte viel härter bestraft werden als Assault.

Anstatt, dass das Alter relevant für das Wahlrecht ist, sollte man in Zukunft eher darauf achten, ob jemand Magic spielen kann oder nicht. Somit kann umgangen werden, dass Menschen, die nicht Magic spielen können, am Ende auch noch über die Regierung entscheiden dürfen.

Das war ja nicht persönlich gemeint. Ich finde nur die Aktion von dir dumm (und möglicherweise auch shady, aber ka). Aber ich war beim Halbfinale nicht mehr dabei, also halte ich jetzt mal die Klappe.

Rules-wise, they are not. But I think this is wrong, that's all I was saying.

Ach Holzi, da braucht man ja weiter ausholen für dich.
Der Tschechmann hat gesagt dass Flo ein scumbag ist weil er nach Penalties gefischt hat und unfreundlich zu ihm war. Nicht weil er auf die Notizen geguckt hat. Das "wir sprechen doitsch in doitschland" hat damit sicher auch was zu tun gehabt.
Abgesehen davon denke ich nicht dass wenn du nen Gegner erwischst wie er Extrakarten zieht, dass du erstmal den Judge holst und dann selber Karten auf Parität ziehst damits fair ist.
